An early intervention specialist, behaviour support practitioner, behaviour therapist, play-based therapist, and counsellor. With a background as a qualified teacher and an Honours degree in Psychology, I bring over seven years of experience supporting children and families.

I am a registered psychologist, with experience providing assessments, play based therapies for children and therapeutic support and parent education programs for parents and carers. I bring a wide range of experience, having worked in NDIS services, schools and family support services.

As an experienced early intervention specialist and qualified teacher (Early Childhood, Primary and STEM Specialist), I have spent the past two decades supporting children and their families across home, school, and community settings. I am a registereo Behaviour Support Practitioner, Certified LEGO®-Based Therapy Facilitator, and currently completing postgraduate studies in Counselling, Mental Health, and Neuroscience.

Before beginning working in therapy, I have worked as a primary school teacher assistant where I gained valuable experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, and various learning difficulties. Growing up with four younger brothers, each with their own diagnoses, has helped me to appreciate the unique ways in which children connect, communicate and learn. Through play, children are able to express their feelings, build their confidence and process experiences in a natural and fun environment. 

Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years I am well adapt to working and looking after people from all walks of life. Joining my wife, Lindy, we wanted our work to impact communities and families in Australia and have found that in Bridge to Understanding. From answering phones, making appointments and changing batteries I look forward to supporting those around me.
